High Sensitivity to Salinity-Temperature Using One-Dimensional Deformed Photonic Crystal

This paper aims to theoretically study the concept of a photonic salinity and temperature sensor according deformed one-dimensional structure. The fundamental capability proposed is studied. Simultaneously we search optimize thickness structure get maximum sensitivity. constructed by alternating layers TiO2 fused-silica P times. In middle structure, cavity containing seawater inserted measure its temperature. transfer matrix method (TMM) used simulate wave-transmittance spectra. It shown that quality factor (Q-factor) resonance peaks depends on number (P) layers. After that, changing deformation degree (h). parameters h are optimized maximal Q-factor with minimal thickness. best sensitivity SS 558.82 nm/RFIU detection limit 0.0034 RFIU. addition, ST designed 600 0.0005
